The tournament is open to MYSA or USYSA affiliated organizations. Teams will be accepted in the following age groups and divisions for both boys and girls:
Gr 2 (U8): Born on or after August 1, 2009
Gr 3/4 (U10 ): Born on or after August 1, 2007
Gr 5/6 (U12) : Born on or after August 1, 2005
Gr 7/8 (U14) : Born on or after August 1, 2003
Division "Friendship" (Gr 2) Recreational teams.
Division A (Gr 3/4; Gr 5/6; Gr 7/8). Strong town travel teams and select teams.
Division B (Gr 3/4; Gr 5/6; Gr 7/8). Other town travel, town intramural and recreational teams.
Division C (Gr 3/4; Gr 5/6; Gr 7/8). Recreational teams, if numbers permit.
Gr 2, 5 v 5 and Gr 3/4 will play 6 v 6, small-sided format.
Gr 5/6, will play 8 v 8 format.
Gr 7/8 will play 11 v 11 format.
Gr2 and Gr 3/4 teams will play four games on Saturday and Sunday.
Gr 5/6, Gr 7/8 teams will play a minimum of three games over Saturday and Sunday.
Semi-finals and championship games for Gr 5/6, Gr 7/8 divisions will be held on Monday.
All games will be officiated by USSF certified referees. Referee assistants will be used for all semi-final and championship games.
Individual trophies will be presented to Gr 5/6 (fifteen max.), Gr 7/8 (eighteen max.) teams and coaches (two max.) who qualify for championship games. All Gr 2 and Gr 3/4 teams will receive individual awards (twelve players and two coaches max.).
One coach from each division championship team (Gr 5/6, Gr 7/8) will receive a replica of the Danvers Invitational Tournament Cup. The championship team from each division (same age groups) will have their team name engraved on the Tournament Cup.
This is a Patch Tournament! Each team is responsible for providing patches for players to exchange after each match.
Tournament patches will be presented to every player and coach.
Application/Team Registration On-line Procedure
Fees for the tournament are as follows:
Gr 2 (U8) teams (5v5) = There are NO required entrance fees, but a $325.00 donation to cover cost is requested.
Roster forms may be downloaded and adjusted online as required, but the latest copy must be presented at registration night.
Accepted teams withdrawing from the tournament will forfeit the entry fee.

Copy of Team Roster must be turned with Town Registration Signature on registration night. If team roster is not signed by registrar roster must be presented with the following:
Player Card if available of Official League Roster (Example: Official MYSA/ECYSA Roster)
Birth Certificates are not acceptable
A signed medical release for each player is required at registration.
A confirmation receipt of entry will be emailed to you upon completion of team registration on-line. Receipt of check payment confirmation with be email out within five business days of receipt by DIT. Inquiries should be made if confirmation is not received within two weeks via email -
The Tournament competition committee will determine division groupings after the entry deadline. Notice of acceptance or non-acceptance for participation in the tournament will be emailed within two weeks of the application deadline. Teams not accepted will receive a full refund.
All tournament games will be played under FIFA rules, and, as modified by the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA) rule book.
Complete tournament rules, maps, and medical release forms are available on our web site. It is the coach's responsibility to provide his or her team with directions and schedules.
First Aid will be provided for all tournament games. The Trainers or EMT's have the authority to bench a player due to injury.
The designated home team is responsible for providing alternate color game shirts in case of color conflict.
Parking is limited at field locations. Please try to carpool whenever possible.
Per town ordinance:
Smoking is not permitted on any school property.
Charcoal and gas grills, or any other potential fire or safety hazard is strictly forbidden.
Pets are not permitted on any school property/all fields.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at any of the playing fields.
Parents and coaches not complying with the regulation will be asked to leave the facilities.
